Lillian F. Loehr-Pipping
Lillian F. Loehr-Pipping, age 90, formerly of Dotyville, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2012 at St. Francis Home, Fond du Lac, WI.
The former Lillian Olig was born July 30, 1921 in Mt. Calvary, WI to the late Rudolph & Magdelena (Kalt) Olig.
She attended St. Michael’s grade school in Dotyville and graduated from St. Mary Springs in Fond du Lac, WI.
On June 24, 1942 she married Claude Loehr at St. Michael’s in Dotyville. Claude died February 24, 1977. Lillian married Reinhold Pipping April 28, 1978. Reinhold died March 10, 1992.
Besides being a homemaker, Lillian farmed in the town of Forest with her husband.
Lillian enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and gardening. She was especially fond of the time spent with family. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church in the Town of Oseola, The Altar Society, and a former member of St. Michael’s Parish in Dotyville.
Survivors include her children, Karen (Jim) Baumhardt of Eden, Claudia “Muff” (Dave) Gitter of Mt. Calvary, Marjorie (Ken) Ketter of Fond du Lac, Tony “Buzz” (Patty) Loehr of Fond du Lac, Chuck (Sheila) Loehr of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Tim (Emily) Baumhardt, Jeff (Lisa) Baumhardt, Brian (Kris) Baumhardt, Kevin (Betsey) Gitter, Pamela (Jeremie) Birch, Melissa (Steven) Ketter, Kimberly Ketter, Stacey (Jamie) Mertens, Bridget (Erik) Voge; great grandchildren, Carly, Lillian, Owen, Nolan, & William Baumhardt, Nicole (Dennis) Brown, Logan & Kaine Mertens, Adeline Voge,Tessa & Jack Gitter, Breanna & Karissa Birch; great great grandchild, Jason Brown; step children, Betty (John) Steilen of Jackson, Margie Sullivan of Hudson, OH, Ron (Bobbi) Pipping of Wauwatosa, Norm (Linda) Pipping of St. Germain; 8 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; sister, Genevieve Olig of Fond du Lac; sisters in-law, Marion Leonard of Dotyville, Rita Loehr of Fond du Lac, and Mary Jane Loehr of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; sister, Lucille Olig; great grandchild Patrick Gitter; brothers & sister in law, Leo & Lucille Loehr, Tony Leonard and Art Loehr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church W1562 County Road B, Eden (Town of Osceola). Rev. Joe Juknialis and Fr. Jim Loehr concelebrating. A private burial will be held Friday at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Dotyville.
Family and friends may call at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church from 12:00 PM until the time of services.
Memorials may be directed to St. Francis Home or Shepherd of the Hills.
